ELECTRIC BASSIST
Most of my gigs are on electric bass guitar. Whether you need 4-string, 5-string, fretless or synth bass, I can provide low end services to your function/wedding band, tribute show, musical theatre production and many other situations. Pro gear, always prepared and available with backline or on custom-moulded in-ear monitoring, I will always come prepared with material learnt and rehearsed.
DOUBLE BASSIST
Every electric bassist needs to experience double bass to find out what stretches really are! I’ve had incredible experiences playing double bass in jazz and pop groups in Alaska, Norway and the Mediterranean as well as all around the UK for jazz gigs, swing shows, big-bands, musical theatre and one-off special concerts. Sometimes you just can’t beat the warm sound and feel of an acoustic double bass.
PIANO/KEYS
Though more usually found on bass, I really enjoy playing keys (my first instrument) on gigs. Using the fantastic Kawaii ES190, I can provide superb acoustic and electro-mechanical piano and keyboard sounds, as well as a vast array of instruments and patches using Apple’s incredible Mainstage software, allowing me to add an extra professional musical edge to function and corporate shows. I can also provide a Roland Gaia synth for more electronic applications if required.
